Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen, here at etrailer.com and we're going to take a really quick look at the GSI Outdoors Folding Campfire Grill. This makes it easy to put any kind of kettle or smaller pot on top of the flames, rather than them being right over them directly. It gives you a nice way to grill on top of your fire as well, so it just really gives you a more versatile outdoor kitchen than you would have normally. The nice thing about it as well is that it does fold up to make it a bit more compact, so it doesn't take up as much space. You can also use it like this, although there's nothing really to keep the legs from falling down, but there is a little bit of a raised design with this. Most of the time, you're going to be probably using it all the way out.
This does give you that extra height you need. It's about four and three quarter inches above whatever level that it's mounted on or kind of above the ground there, so it gives you that little extra height. The nice things about this as well is that it is made of stainless steel. It's a welded design. We've got this edge going around, or raised edge on either side to help prevent anything from skating off of that. So it makes it a little bit more stable for any of your pots and pans to be up here.
You can also use this again, for kebabs or something like that to just grill directly on top of this as well.So since it is made out of stainless steel should be pretty easy to clean, pretty long lasting, shouldn't really have to worry about any kind of rust or corrosion, and it's pretty lightweight. It doesn't really take up that much room. It weighs about two pounds.I'll give you some additional measurements here. So from edge to edge with the legs all the way out, it's about 21 .. Excuse me.
It's about 21 inches, maybe 21 and a half inches long, and then again, that height underneath is about four and three quarters. The total height is about five inches. The surface that you have to work with here is about 15 and a half inches, and then whenever it's folded up, it's about 17 and a half inches long. The width is about eight and a quarter. The usable space that you have, so the kind of size pots you can use are about eight inches or less. That's pretty much all there is to it for our quick look at the GSI Outdoors Folding Campfire Grill.
I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right tool for you. We do have a lot of outdoor equipment here etrailer.com, including a lot of other GSI camping, cookware, and other things, so you should definitely check those out. And thanks for watching.
